Wedding at Fallbrook Estate by Wedgewood

Troy & Michael’s Fallbrook Estate Wedding at Wedgewood

Troy & Michael are the kind of couple that ooze with gratitude. From their engagement session and throughout their entire wedding day at Fallbrook Estate, they were bursting with thankfulness. On a day that should be all about them, they had others on the forefront of their minds as they ensured that their family and friends who had gathered to celebrate them were taken care of. They are just the KINDEST people and it makes them so magnetic to be around. You can tell by the way they look at each other that they are so blessed to have one another. It’s for this very reason that I felt so happy to be able to capture their love story and put the attention back on them!! Read on to see more from their stunning wedding day at the Fallbrook Estate by Wedgewood Weddings…

How the Bride and Groom met…

From the Bride- We have gone to school together since we were in 8th grade. We didn’t become friends until after we graduated high school when our best friends started dating (our best man and maid of honor). After several years of knowing each other, we finally decided to go on a date.

How did he propose?

From the Bride- Troy planned a surprise trip for us to Hawaii. He told me that we were going on a trip, but would not tell me where. He told me to pack a warm-weather bag and a cold-weather bag the night before, then the morning we were planning on leaving he told me to bring the warm weather bag. Once we arrived at the airport, he told me we were going to Hawaii! I had just graduated from college, so I thought that this trip was probably just to celebrate that. We stayed at an Air BnB right on the beach and on the second day we were there, he asked me to come and walk on the beach with him. That’s when he asked and me to marry him. After I said yes, he showed me a video of all of our friends and family congratulating us on our engagement. It was clear he had been planning to propose for months.

How did you decide on Fallbrook Estate by Wedgewood for your wedding venue?

From the Bride- We toured a few wedding venues and none of them felt right. We loved the look of this Fallbrook Estate and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They were also extremely accommodating with my school schedule and even allowed me to switch my wedding date.

What is your favorite thing about the bride?

From the Groom- My favorite thing about Michael is her thoughtfulness. I have never been the kind of guy who remembers to write thank you cards or remember birthdays, but Michael is always there to remind me. She makes me a better man because of it.

Any advice for brides planning their wedding day?

From the Bride- Your wedding day goes by so quickly! Try to plan ahead so that you can be present and take it all in.
