Oh to be SIXTEEN again! Bella's mom planned the sweetest birthday trip for her sweet 16! She flew her and two of her besties to Los Angeles to celebrate! The day started with hair and makeup, and then I had a blast adventuring around the Venice Beach boardwalk with them for a lifestyle session! ⠀
I have to admit- I was a bit nervous walking into this photoshoot. I knew no matter where we went, it would be crazy packed on a Saturday in Venice Beach. Also, due to the timing of their trip, we had no choice but to shoot earlier in the day in harsh daylight!⠀

It's not that I doubted my abilities, but it definitely challenged me to think outside my comfort zone. And wouldn't you know it, I couldn't be happier with the way these turned out! I love how playful these shots are, and they have me totally wishing I had photos like this with my high school friends! How cute are Bella and her friends?!⠀
