Santa Monica Engagement Session at Palisades Park
Engagement Session at Palisades Park, Santa Monica
I can't think of a better combo than pizza and wine, and when paired with sweeping ocean views, it's a match made in heaven. Kyle & Bryana's Santa Monica engagement session at Palisades Park was definitely one for the books. When they suggested having a pizza picnic during their engagement session, I said "sign me up!".
From the bride: "We wanted our engagement session to be laid back and to incorporate things that we love. We happen to really enjoy lounging together with a bottle of wine, pizza, and love our little neighborhood in Santa Monica. We moved from San Francisco to Santa Monica two years ago and started living together for the first time. It marks a really important chapter for us and we feel super lucky to live in a place that we love exploring. We were considering doing it other locations but I'm so happy we stuck with a place that feels authentic to us and our relationship. I know we will look back on the pictures later and be filled with good memories of this time in our lives (and probably also get really hungry from the Pizzana pics)."
How He Proposed
From the bride: "My Grandma passed away last year and we were both really close with her. She was such a huge part of our lives and absolutely adored Kyle. My family planned a memorial trip for her in Hawaii over Christmas break. One night we did a sunset toast in her honor - we went to the beach with mai tais and each of us shared a memory of her. When it was Kyle's turn, he got down on one knee and proposed with the same ring my Grandpa proposed to her with in front of my whole family. There was lots of tears and celebrating afterwards. It couldn't have been more meaningful to me and the rest of my family".
