If you’ve been following us on instagram [@lovisa_photo], you’ve probably seen a lot of fun pictures from this last weekend. A friend of my husband Grant, drove out from Idaho to film some shots in California for his stock videography portfolio. Grant + I piled in an old Dodge van with several of our friends to film some amazing roadtrip shots. Over the course of 3 days we filmed in Joshua Tree, Malibu, and locally in Orange County. It was such a fun time and I can’t wait to actually roadtrip some time SOON!
The last day we were shooting [Sunday] was Grant and I’s one year anniversary so we weren’t able to properly celebrate on the day of. But we had made plans to get out of town for our one year anniversary the next weekend. We wanted to feel like we were really getting away, but without having to fly. So! We chose Palm Springs! We will be staying at The Saguaro for the first time and I can’t wait. It looks amazing and reminds me of our tropical honeymoon in Mexico!

This has been one crazy busy summer for Grant + myself, so we are really excited to get away and soak up some sun. We’ve made a Anniversary Bucket List to share with you all the fun things we have in mind for this trip! Feel free to share any recommendations of bars, restaurants, or cool places to check out!
